Wrapped in the Dark....like fine silk...

I am patiently looking for a close friend, confidant, or part-time lover. Clinginess is beneath me, I just want the friendship, and maybe a little bit of contact. No strings attatched, please. I am not interested in anybody just like me. I'm afraid I'm not enough of a fan of me in the right ways to enjoy getting to know someone like me. I do, however, want someone understanding who has a big capacity for love. I want someone to someday sit in a formal audience at one of my operatic recitals, as I aspire to someday become an operatic Diva. I want someone patient, and fun. I like someone with a sharp sense of humour, and who will openly laugh at themselves as heartily as they laugh at others ^_^. I also have an affinity for those who feel just as comforted by darkness as I do. I like intelligence, but it isn't necessary in a friend. I am an old soul, and I often express the perks that go with being around for so long. I wish to befriend someone who will appreciate the novelty of me. I must admit: In the right amounts, I find cynicism (sp?) sexy. Too much cynicism tends to turn into bitterness. Jaded people are hard to deal with sometimes. I guess all that's left to say is that I hope to be satisfactorily beguiling and alluring to my future friends, lovers, what have you. Happy searching, precious.
